BLINDFOLD
We’re conditioned, from an early age.
Born pure our innocence, slowly decays.
Told what is wrong, and what is right.
Some never question anything, in this life.
We’re taught to follow the flock.
We’re told, who and what we should be.
We’re caught, In this world of illusion.
We’re sold, blindly into believing.
All of their lies. They said jump, we’re still falling.
All of our lives, the blindfold pulled over our eyes.
Still believing that we’re in control, of self and mind.
While numb and sedated, we follow that line.
We’re taught to follow the flock.
We’re told, who and what we should be.
We’re caught, In this world of illusion.
We’re sold, blindly into believing.
Make a choice, live life for yourself, be who you want to be.
Let them hear your, voice until they’ve heard you scream.
Or walk down that same road, the safest choice to make.
Choose to be a slave or be truly free.
We’re taught to follow the flock.
We’re told, who and what we should be.
We’re caught, In this world of illusion.
We’re sold, blindly into believing.

ALL THE SAME

ALL THE SAME
I don’t know what to say. It’s all been said before.
All the words we screamed out in our youth.
Nothing’s changed, I thought we wanted more?
No unity, no broken walls,
People still screaming for change that.
Most choose to ignore.
It’s all the same,
Still nothing’s changed.
It’s all the same,
And still nothing has changed. (X2)
Look at the kids today following
The footsteps left behind.
Influenced by the ones they looked up to,
who can blame them for being so blind?
Where did the time go, twenty eight years later,
I still don’t know but. I’m still here
in the only place that I. Truly feel at home.
It’s all the same,
Still nothing’s changed.
It’s all the same,
And still nothing has changed. (X2)
Where did the time go? Twenty eight years later,
I still don’t know, but. I’m still here
In the only place that I. Truly feel at home.

CHAINS

CHAINS *Feat. Kyle Richardson of Not InPublic
Are we already living in Hell?
I can only find my way down.
I can’t seem to find my way.
Blind to the darkness.
Living in this pain.
Like a song repeating itself.
A skipping record that never ends.
This cycle never stops.
Like a nightmare.
but I can’t wake up.
Over and over, again and again.
I can’t break these chains
Over and over, again and again.
I can’t break these chains
that hold me down.
Like nails hammered
through my veins.
Tightening with time.
There’s no escape,
they hold me in line.
I’ve lost all control.
Possessed, like the Devil has my soul.
He’s got me in his grasp.
Wondering if this breath
will be my last.
Over and over, again and again.
I can’t break these chains.
Over and over, again and again.
I can’t break these chains.

1988
What happened to the good old days?
When it felt like we were all the same.
Nobody had anything to prove.
And there were no Rock Star attitudes.
Now there’s too many cliques and too many scenes.
Lost sight of what this all really means.
Too many bands and people acting cool .
Believing that they’re better than you.
It was us against the world.
In nineteen eighty eight.
Now it’s turned into
everything I hate. (x2)
Competition and awards shows?
Please tell me that it isn’t so.
Are you here for the music and the passion?
Or just to be seen and for the fashion?
Does anyone still have an open mind?
Because today that seems so hard to find
Hardcore, Punk and Metal is still the same to me.
Just different branches of the same family tree.
It was us against the world.
In nineteen eight eight.
Now it’s turned into
everything I hate. (x2)
They say the more things change they stay the same.
Well I’m looking forward to better days.
You can say those times have passed and are long gone.
But I’ve got my fingers crossed that I’ll prove you wrong.
It was us against the world.
In nineteen eighty eight.

SHEDDING SKIN
Thought I was finished wasting my time,
But you pulled me back in.
No I never asked for this fight,
every word you say twisted lies, cliche.
What did I do? Why do you want people to hate?
Me and my character, you try to assassinate.
So blind, that you can’t even see,
everyone knows just who you've always been.
Always changing colors,
Shedding your skin.
Another snake in the grass,
Chameleon. (x2)
Friend anyone to help you get ahead,
Whatever it takes to keep your ego fed
In it for yourself, nothing’s changed,
Still chasing popularity and fame.
Tell me is it jealousy, because I've lived my dreams?
While no cares about one thing you’ve done or been.
Onto every new style and trend.
Jumping on to someone else's ship again.
Always changing colors,
Shedding your skin.
Another snake in the grass,
Chameleon. (x2)
Come out of hiding when things go my way,
mouth open wide the same shit again.
Can’t back up even one word you say,
you’re done exiled in shame.
Always changing colors,
Shedding your skin.
Another snake in the grass,
Chameleon. (x2)
You can run but you can’t hide.
One day the snake will slither inside.
Can’t take back the venomous lies you’ve spread.
Forked tongue, revenge, cut off its head.
Always changing colors,
Shedding your skin.
Another snake in the grass,
Chameleon. (x2)

MY OWN WORST ENEMY

MY OWN WORST ENEMY
Trapped in solitary.
In this dark and lonely place
Locked up in my own mind.
Getting harder to escape.
No you won’t understand.
Unless you’ve been here as well.
I’m lost with no way out.
Living in my own Hell.
Become my own worst enemy
Got to save me from myself (x2)
I’ve been here for so long,
Days have turned to years.
Left with regrets and loss.
Of what I hold so dear.
For years I searched for help.
I put out my hand.
They all ask the same questions.
To get inside my head.
Become my own worst enemy
Got to save me from myself (x2)
Can you give me an answer?
Can you help me please?
I’m lost and so alone.
This is not who I want to be.
Become my own worst enemy
Got to save me from myself (x2)
